Creating Healthy Eating Habits
A Key In The Prevention of Childhood Obesity



  • Anna Getty – Chef, author, actress, mom, Kundalini yoga teacher, holistic lifestyle expert and founder of Pregnancy Awareness Month!™ (PAM™), an organization that empowers women through education and inspiration.

    This year Anna added author to her impressive resume with the release of her first book, I'm Dreaming Of A Green Christmas - just in time for the holidays. Her second book, Anna Getty's Easy Green Organic (cookbook) is due out in the spring of 2010, which will bring together her years of experience as a chef, with her knowledge of healthy eating.



  • Dr. Alan Greene – Father, pediatrician, Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine, President of the Board of the Society of Participatory Medicine and on the board of directors of Healthy Child Healthy World, and the Organic Center.

    Dr. Greene is the author of many popular health and parenting books including Raising Baby Green and Feeding Baby Green. He has been featured in the New York Times and has appeared on The TODAY Show, Good Morning America - Health, among others. He was also honored as one of "the 100 most creative and influential innovators working in health care today," named the Children's Health Hero of the Internet by Intel, and in 1995, founded of the consumer health Web site DrGreene.com.




  • Ashley Koff RD – Registered Dietitian (R.D.), and founder of Ashley Koff Approved (AKA), a well-respected stamp of approval for healthy nutrition. Koff is a health advisor on The Huffington Post (HuffPost) and a regular contributor on ABC's Good Morning America Health (GMAH). This year in partnership with both media sources, Koff has helped create the HuffPost Living Energy Makeover contest. She and the winner will appear in a monthly segment on GMAH.

    Koff shares her expertise in her book Recipes for IBS (Fair Winds Press 2007), a cookbook and treatment plan for digestive wellness, as well as through her private practice, nutritional endorsement opportunities, consulting with studios, restaurants and many other avenues. CitySearch has been named Koff "LA's Best Nutritionist" for the past three years.

  • Pamela Saterdalen – Biodynamic gardener, gymnast and cooperative and competitive games teacher at Highland Hall Waldorf School. Pamela is currently training 5th-8th graders for the Southern California Pentathlon, Medieval Games & track meets.

    Join her for a teachers training experience of age appropriate movement for grades 1-12. This is a participatory class. Please wear comfy shoes and be prepared to have some fun. Bring your questions ... no prior experience necessary.
